Fenchurch St Station

The next morning, we departed from Bayswater on the Circle Line to Tower Hill Station. From Tower Hill station it was easy to get to Fenchurch St Station just five minutes away on foot.

It was a quick stop, we took few pictures of Fenchurch St Station, and went back to Tower Hill. Looking at the magnificent Tower Of London across the road, my mind wondered how it used to be back in the days. Was it chaos and ghastly? From where I’m standing now did it smell like a zoo back then? I mean… there were animals and beasts in there.

There are numerous underground tubes we can take to get to Fenchurch Street rail station, depending on where we’re departing from and i guess how far we’re willing to walk 🙂 Fenchurch Street is in zone 1 but it does not have a direct link to London Underground. The nearest is Tower Hill about 0.2 miles (0.32 km) to the southeast and Aldgate around 0.3 miles (0.48 km) to the northeast. London Buses route 40 passes the station.

Accessible from:

Tower Hill underground station: Circle, District lines.
Aldgate underground station: Circle, Metropolitan lines.
